Beginners
- Going to the track for the first time can be a scary or overwhelming idea. The first thing to understand is that at some point we all had to do it. This is not wheel to wheel racing, but a simple track day to improve your driving skills and enjoy your car in a safe environment. Yes you can drive your street car as long as it’s in good running condition, with a properly working seat belt and an approved helmet. If your car is a convertible it must have factory roll over protection or aftermarket roll bar. If you’re worried about wrecking your or getting rock chips on it, don’t. You are less likely to damage your car or be involved in an accident on the track then you are on the street. If you are that super cautious just pick up a roll of blue painters tape and cover the front of your car. We do get an extensive range in cars from an ecofriendly compact to a multi-million exotic, so you will fit in. If you would like to bring a friend or spouse for moral support or to share the day with, please do. We don’t charge for friend/guest, but they cannot ride in the car with you. You will receive track day instruction, classroom driving instruction; on track lead follow instruction, private in car instruction, and all track needed information to keep you safe and have and enjoyable day. All this is included plus much more with your paid track registration. We do not charge club membership fee, just charge by the day. Intermediate
- This group is typically for someone with some track experience. If you have attended other track days before, this is the group for you. If you have prior track experience but have never driven this track before, this is my suggestion. Sign up for this group, but take advantage of the free classroom instruction and lead follow session. It will not take any time away from your normal run groups, but add time. If you have never been on a track before, but you believe you are a very competent driver and not a beginner, this is my suggestion to you. Sign up in the beginner group and do the class instruction, on track lead follow, and one complete run group. If you still feel you are to advance of a drive for this group, we will happily move you up. We make every attempt to give you the most enjoyable track day ever, but we can only do this with your help. If you feel you are too fast for a group or to slow, come see us and we will change your run group right on the spot.
Advanced
- This group is for drivers with several track days and a number of seat hours. Most of you have driven on this track before. This group is for experienced drivers, and it is opened passing on all parts of the track without a point by system. We get everything from exotic street cars, to full blown open wheel cars. Because the drivers in this group are very serious about safety and their cars, they are very aware about what is happening on the track and what fellow drivers are doing.
